Adventures in Corpus Christi, TX

The second picture is of the view out our dining room window when we were on the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, TX. A million dollar view. The first picture is the beach in front of our 5th wheel that we walked and hunted for shells. We stayed at NAS for about three weeks. Enjoyed the company of many RVer's, some part time and some full time.
While we were there we took many trips to the adjacent islands. Padre Island and Mustang Island. The third picture with the horses is one taken on Padre Island. Cars can drive on the beach because it is hard packed sand. It seemed like I was doing something wrong when we were driving on the beach........like I was getting by with something, but it is a normal occurrence and we saw many other cars just flying down the beach. What a wonderful place to experience tropical beauty.
